MEET THE THERAPISTS
Allison is the Founder and Director of Evergreen Counseling, a Licensed Independent Social Worker, and an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science from Ashford University and her Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Allison works with children, teens, and adults in a safe, comfortable space where empathy and compassion meet practical guidance tailored to each client's unique story. Whether working with moms navigating the everyday challenges of parenthood, parents of special needs children seeking support, or individuals dealing with mental health concerns, she creates an environment where clients feel truly heard.
She is passionate about neurodivergence and understands how long waitlists for Autism and ADHD evaluations can be. Allison offers assessments and diagnoses for adolescents and adults because she believes timely validation and understanding of neurodivergence can be truly empowering. She's also an advocate for animal therapy and provides ESA assessments for those who might benefit.
Allison's approach is solution-focused, warm, and creative. She draws from CBT, DBT, and strength-based modalities to meet clients where they are and help them move toward where they want to be.
When she's not in the therapy chair, Allison spends time on her small country homestead with her family and pets—reading, grilling out, and tending to her garden.
