MEET THE THERAPISTS

Allison is the Founder and Director of Evergreen Counseling, a Licensed Independent Social Worker, and an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science from Ashford University and her Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Allison works with children, teens, and adults in a safe, comfortable space where empathy and compassion meet practical guidance tailored to each client's unique story. Whether working with moms navigating the everyday challenges of parenthood, parents of special needs children seeking support, or individuals dealing with mental health concerns, she creates an environment where clients feel truly heard.

She is passionate about neurodivergence and understands how long waitlists for Autism and ADHD evaluations can be. Allison offers assessments and diagnoses for adolescents and adults because she believes timely validation and understanding of neurodivergence can be truly empowering. She's also an advocate for animal therapy and provides ESA assessments for those who might benefit.

Allison's approach is solution-focused, warm, and creative. She draws from CBT, DBT, and strength-based modalities to meet clients where they are and help them move toward where they want to be.

When she's not in the therapy chair, Allison spends time on her small country homestead with her family and pets—reading, grilling out, and tending to her garden.

Evergreen Counseling is honored to collaborate with Kristi Woodruff, LISW-S, Founder and Director of Willow of Hope Counseling, to offer compassionate, clinically grounded care to our community. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a supervision designation, Kristi brings a depth of experience and a heartfelt commitment to supporting individuals and families through their healing journeys.

Kristi earned her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2017. Since then, she has worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults, and families across diverse backgrounds and life experiences. With nearly a decade of clinical practice, she draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and a range of relaxation and grounding techniques. Kristi is passionate about using psychoeducation to help clients better understand their diagnoses, trauma histories, and the ways these experiences shape daily life and relationships. Her approach empowers clients with insight, tools, and confidence as they move toward meaningful change.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Kristi brings warmth, authenticity, and a genuine dedication to helping others feel seen and supported. In her personal life, she enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors with her two sons and their many beloved animals — moments that ground her and fuel the care she brings to her work.

Evergreen Counseling is grateful for the opportunity to partner with Kristi and expand the compassionate, high-quality services available to our clients.
